We are currently looking for a Junior Java Developer to work with one of our prestigious clients.All potential candidates must already be based in The Netherlands.
Job Purpose;
As a member of the Development team and reporting directly to the VP of Programme Management, the Junior Java Developer is responsible for the implementation of new product functionality. As a passionate Developer you will ensure that our product continues to deliver an excellent user experience, high quality and fast performance.
Responsibilities;
- Work with the product management team to implement new functionality
- Take ownership of the development process, taking ideas from concept to implementation using mock-ups and customer feedback as appropriate
- Support and improve existing functionality of the product
Skills;
- Java development experience
- Ability to take responsibility for and solve customer and technical problem
- Ability to work in a team on a project within tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Preferably database or web development skills
- Preferably experience with shell scripting
- Understanding of how build process works
- Participation in programming competitions and open-community projects is an additional benefit
