Our Client, a leading Bank, are currently looking for a SAS Business Analyst. The role will require the candidate to review and interpret complex policy data related processes, use ETL to uncover differences and quality issues in the data and MI produced. This role will be based in their Bristol office, on a long term rolling contract basis, paying up to £500/day.The successful candidate will have the following:
-Data and Business analysis experience in an Finance and Actuarial function, focused on developing and implementing data related solutions involving applications such as SAS or Business Objects
-Ability to manipulate complex data using current data processing software products, particularly using SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide - to uncover patterns in data, determine systemic and specific data quality issues
-Knowledge of SQL & Business Objects XI3/4, SAS 9.x & Oracle databases
-Excel,VB, VBA, XML skills
-Knowledge of other programming languages such as COBOL
-Knowledge of MI technical, infrastructure and warehouse concept
