Software Engineer - C# Contractor - Cambridgeshire AreaInnovative C# Software Engineer contractors required for a world class, market leading medium company based in the Cambridge area responsible for ground-breaking applications of new technology.
They are developing a number of products in 2015 that require highly-skilled, enthusiastic and energetic individual who is able to meet both the existing operational needs of the company and potentially future projects as we grow.
Key Skills: The successful applicant will have the following key skills:-
- C# (winforms applications using MVC architecture)
- Experience in design of multi-threaded hardware/instrumentation control applications
- Experience of product design within a formal Quality Management System
Essential:
- Computer science, natural science or engineering degree
- Design and development of scientific measurement equipment (EG: spectrometers or imaging systems)
- The ability to work alone or as part of a tight knit team
- Flexible approach to work
Desirable:
- Experience with data visualization libraries (eg: ILNumerics or Matlab)
- Signal processing, statistics and other data analysis methods
- Hardware interfacing experience
You must have worked within a formalised Quality System framework, with experience of scientific instrumentation as well as being able to demonstrate a track record of instrumentation or scientific software architecture design.
Rate - £ DoE
Duration: 3 months initially with potential for extension
