Microsoft LightSwitch/SilverLight Developer / Investment Bank / Contract / London / £250-£300 per dayMy client, a top tier investment bank, is looking for a Microsoft LightSwitch/SilverLight developer to work in their expanding team based in Central London.
The developer will write in Microsoft LightSwitch utilizing MS SilverLight connecting to a SQL server backend. The application also supports multiple MS Excel uploads with embedded VB macros. The successful applicant will be involved with development of new functionality, support of current application including bug fixes and deployment of code and environment and infrastructure support.
What the role will entail:
- Design, develop and deliver a new functionality within the current system to support business requirements.
- Support and management of current application - including identifying and fixing live and test issues within both the application itself and Excel template upload facilities.
- Working with offshore resource to share knowledge and workload
- Working with Business and IT
