for a Software Engineer (f/m) with Excel and VBA Skills
Project environment
A Global Swiss Bank.
Tasks
• Data providers integration of Bloomberg and Reuters into pricing sheets.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions from small components, to entire applications, to owning the development of software solutions spanning multiple complex systems.
• Adhere to the established lifecycle methodology and practices, in accordance to project plans while carrying out their responsibilities.
• Administrative or professional work and keeping processes and data up-to-date.
• Works mainly within the team as a proactive resource supporting change processes and procedures.
• Work within clearly defined processes, with sufficient leeway for their own input.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 Years work experience.
• Experience in working on pricing sheets.
• Curve building or risk views and familiarity with Interest rate risk.
• Experience in Excel and VBA programming.
• RAD development in .NET environment and SQL server as well as C++ are desired but not critical.
• Skills in dealing with a variety of standard and non-standard activities for a team or a certain area as experts and/or as supervisors.
