- Significant software engineering experience in C++

- SQL and NoSql database experience
- Interfacing to geographical & mapping software e.g. using OGC WMS
- .NET Framework
o C# & C++/CLI
o WCF services
- Java software development
- XML & XSD modelling
- Real-?time multimedia framework design
- Parallelized (multi-?threaded & multi-?core) design
- GUI and user experience design
- Still and video processing
- 3D graphics libraries
- Windows application development & build systems
- Linux, Android and embedded systems
- Agile software development practices.
