Software Engineer - Oxford- £35 000 - £50 000 + Good Benefits

A world leading configuration company requires a Software Engineer to configure and customize software to the specific
requirements of our customers, and support research projects with building operational prototypes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Significant software engineering experience in C++


Desirable Skills and Experience include:
  • Qt, Boost
  • SQL and NoSql database experience
  • Interfacing to geographical & mapping software e.g. using OGC WMS
  • .NET Framework


o C# & C++/CLI
o WCF services

  • Java software development
  • XML & XSD modelling
  • Real-­?time multimedia framework design
  • Parallelized (multi-­?threaded & multi-­?core) design
  • GUI and user experience design
  • Still and video processing
  • 3D graphics libraries
  • Windows application development & build systems
  • Linux, Android and embedded systems
  • Agile software development practices.
