Data Modeller - Contract - Insurance (Excel, Access, SQL, Business Planning)I am currently recruiting for a Data Modeller working for an Insurance client on a contract basis based in London. The candidate will be required to review a business planning tool holistically, understanding its purpose, structure and long term requirements. The candidate will also be required to restructure an existing business planning tool using appropriate tools such as; Excel, Access, SQL and VBA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an insurance client so the ideal candidate will have experience of working in the insurance industry however this is not essential.
This is a 3 month rolling contract paying market rates.
Essential Skills/Experience;
- Ability to create structured and well thought out solutions using chosen toolset.
- Excellent skills and proven track record in chosen toolset (be it Excel, Access, SQL server or combinations thereof)
- Experience in business planning models.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms (eg: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access)
Desirable Skills/Experience;
- Strong Insurance & finance background.
