MI Analyst -Lloyds of London Insurance client - London - (MI, Excel, Access, SQL)MI Analyst is required for a Lloyds of London Insurance client on a contract basis based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a MI analyst who specialises with excel, access, SQL and dashboards to join an insurance client who has focused in business to business insurance so the candidate will be required to have extensive knowledge in the Lloyds of London insurance markets.
The candidate will be working on a business planning tool which is currently nested in Excel. The existing business planning tool has been developed in excel and needs restructuring and reconciling into a new business planning model using the right tools. So the candidate will be required to evaluate the existing tool, identify the problems and provide solutions for the new business planning model. Creating a structure that can be changed without any risk to the overall structure and information.
The main technology that has been employed is Excel so you will need to have a strong background in advanced Excel. My client is open to using other technology as the firm grows further however this would be discussed with the hiring manager.
This is a 3 month rolling contract paying £ a day.
Essential Skills/Experience;
Strong Insurance (Lloyds of London) background
Expert Microsoft office skills advanced Excel and Access
Exposure to business planning and working with various departments including actuaries.
Be able to identify problems and provide solutions
