A market leader in secure systems requires an Embedded Software Engineer to join part of a small Software development team which is responsible for bringing the latest leading-edge products to market.
They have a reputation for developing innovative, technically superior, products in short time scales, and as the business is growing rapidly and need an additional, highly skilled and highly capable engineer to join our ranks.
Key activities will involve:
Development of (Linux-based) OS
Development of Interface application
Development of exiting software test frameworks and automated software test facilities
Definition, implementation and verification of new features and enhancements
Essential:
Strong C/C++ programming experience in a UNIX environment.
Good understanding of Linux and embedded Linux systems
Python
Desirable:
Android/ iOS development experience
Experience in test automation and development of software test systems
Experience in secure programming and secure programming best practices.
Experience in Linux device driver development and interfacing to hardware
