Senior Test Manager

We are currently recruiting a Senior Test Manager to work on an initial 2 month contract with a leading financial player based in Brussels

For our client in Brussels we are looking an End-2-End Test Manager to work within Transformation Delivery Services, which is part of the IT-department. The aim of Transformation Delivery Services is to provide business partners with efficient solutions to support their future daily activities. Within Transformation Delivery Services, you will be working in the End-to-End Feature Management Team Core Banking.

What you will be doing…

• Overall coordination of the test activities (planning, follow up of execution…) of IT projects, strategic programmes, and application releases;
• Defining the consolidated testing strategy and the detailed test plan for the testing of new releases and deliverables;
• Defining and checking acceptance criteria;
• Managing the verification and validation processes;
• Ensuring the consistency and quality of the solution;
• Defining technical frameworks and ensuring test environment readiness;
• Participating in test data preparation;
• Giving a go/no-go recommendation in the final test report;
• Ensuring that the test activities comply with ING standards;
• Participating to method improvement initiatives;

What your experience is…

• Master or Bachelor degree (or equivalent through experience)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in project environment, including relevant experience in end-to-end testing execution and/or management;
• In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (e.g. HP Quality Center);
• Experience within the banking sector and more specifically with Cards products would be considered as a strong asset;
• Knowledge of TIBCO Business Works, SOAP UI and security aspects is an advantage;
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset
