Job Title: Financial Accountant

Employer: NHS Foundation Trust

Location: East Midlands

Rate: £250 - £350 per day

Band: 7

Contract: 3-6 months

Real Staffing are working with an NHS Foundation Trust, who require a Financial Accountant to lead on the implementation of financial accounting systems and processes within the new organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be asked to act on their own initiative.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Chief Finance Officer
• Production of the annual accounts
• Maintaining robust financial control systems and processes
• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the financial ledger
• Monthly financial reporting and FIMs reporting
• Payment of invoices and debt collection
• Reconciliation of control accounts
• Capital management and planning
• Liaising with budget holders, internal and external auditors

Skills and experience:

• NHS
• Oracle systems use
• Financial accounting
• Operate at a band 7 level
