Senior SQL DBA - ContractType: Contract
Rate: £300- £350pd
Location: South Wales
Role:
Working as the Senior DBA leading a small team of DBA's to manage and implement software solutions. You will be involved with designing the architecture for the required SQL Server components. You will be taked with:
Mentoring team members
Provide a Lean process for database monitoring
Architect, Develop and Technical design of the SQL Server Environments for the new data centre
Design and implement Database Architecture
Setup and maintain documentation
Essential Requirements:
- Expert knowledge working with designing, implementing, and administering SQL Server 2008 & 2012 databases
- Experience in SSIS package versions 2008R2/2012
- Experience with database monitoring and tuning, index management, data partitioning, physical database design and server configuration
- Data warehouse experience
- Comprehensive understanding of database structures, principles and practises.
