Fixed Income Technical BA with SQL background, BankingStrong Fixed Income Technical BA with a strong background in data warehousing utilising the Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence stack is required by my client who is based within the financial services sector in the heart of London. My clients need for a strong Fixed Income BA with a background in SQL Business Intelligence data warehouse development is because they are looking to grow their team who have been working on a strong data warehouse project based on a unique platform this is a very strong team who are at the forefront of their space within the fixed income arena. The team itself has been building strong scalable solutions within this area for a while and by having an additional resource that would focus on the Fixed Income side as well as the SQL BI stack they will be able to build out this new data warehouse platform to provide unique reports to the rest of the business managers, traders, product control etc.
This SQL data warehouse niche team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver pure cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong Fixed Income Technical BA who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack with a large emphasis in SSAS however they are still utilising the SSIS and SSRS technology as well.
This role will require the Fixed Income Technical BA with SQL BI experience to work on various areas of the build and will have exposure to liaise directly with the business on a daily basis so you will need a strong skill set within Fixed Income.
This is a contract role with competitive day rates.
Essential Skills
- Fixed Income Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role at least 2-3 years experience is required, you will be required to know the products and be able to explain them.
- Previous SQL Data warehousing development experience including SQL 2012
- Proven experience within the full BI stack
- Inmon methodology in previous roles and a good understanding of it would be highly desirable but is not essential.
- Experience within investment banking is ESSENTIAL
