I am looking for a Software Developer for a 3 month contract with potential to extend. This role is based in Birmingham and easy to get to by public transport.The applicant should have:
50% .NET Web development skills - mainly web services based on either ASP.NET Web API or an alternative .NET web services framework like ServiceStack or NancyFX:
- The applicant should be proficient with Entity Framework 4.1+ or an alternative .NET ORM framework;
- The applicant should also be familiar with ASP.NET MVC;
- 40% Client side development skills - mainlyJavaScript with HTML andCSS:
- The applicant should be proficient with AngularJS or with an alternative client side MVC framework like BackboneJS or KnockoutJS;
- The applicant should be familiar with a front-end framework like Bootstrap;
- 10% apps for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2013 client side object model skills.
The development team use an agile project management approach, with weekly sprints and are expected to meet directly with the clients to generate user stories so need to have excellent communication skills.
