My client is a high-growth start-up based in the heart of East London. The principal application of their products is within the audio/music industry, but they are in the process of exploring further markets for their hi-tech products.Situated near to London's technology hub, they boast a superlative working environment which offers free lunches on-site and excellent coffee facilities. The company has expanded exponentially and they are looking for a technical project manager to oversee several of their R&D and product development initiatives. The role will involve delivering on projects on-time and in-budget, overseeing project teams of designers and engineers as well as liaising with products managers and team leaders.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background (preferably coming from software licensing, open source or commercial software) and will have at least 3 years experience as a project manager. Experience with a methodology (e.g. Agile) would also be beneficial and due to the nature of the projects, previous exposure to C++.
