2X Embedded Software Engineers- Oxfordshire DOE £55 000 + Fantastic BenefitsAn Oxford based world leader in the medical industry requires two Embedded Software Engineers to join part of their faced paced team.
Responsible for software design and development of software products, and working on the design and implementation level on embedded firmware for medical devices.
Developing real time software directly on hardware.
Thrives on the challenge of a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
Excellent understanding of embedded software design techniques
Excellent understanding of programming languages and fluent in C
Good understanding of source management (e.g. SVN) and bug tracking systems (e.g. Bugzilla)
Beneficial
Understanding of a highly regulated software development environment, such as medical, or automotive, aerospace etc
Knowledgeable in 8051 assembler
Knowledge of low power radio
Good understanding of embedded communications systems
Programming in C#
Understanding of processor architectures and peripherals
