Role:
A Leading retail organisation based in Bristol are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA), for a 3 monthly contract.
Joining a small team, you will be tasked with assisting in the Development & Maintenance of the database strategy, helping to improve application uptime and access to data. Ideally you will possess strong technical skills with all data warehousing technologies (e.g., ETL, ODS, DBMS, BI).
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years demonstrated professional experience in IT development/support roles
- Expert knowledge working with designing, implementing, and administering SQL Server 2008 & 2012 databases
- Experience in SSIS package versions 2008R2/2012
- Experience with database monitoring and tuning, index management, data partitioning, physical database design and server configuration
