Description
A SQL Developer is required for a 6 month contract for a major financial client based in Manchester.The client is looking for somebody with strong experience in SQL Development rather than the MI/BI side of things.
The SQL Developer will be required to keep pace with the high volume and complex changes that such a fast paced business handles every day.
The SQL Developer MUST have experience with T-SQL, a good working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 & SQL Server 2012.
The SQL Developer mustbe able to demonstrate expert T-SQL scripting skills and knowledge of SSIS, SSRS & SSAS
The position requires:
1. To maintain and enhance the live MSSQL database estate for our global businesses; assist with planning and rollout of development, test, QA and Live systems.
2. The candidate will be expected to have extensive experience with ETL processes and tools.
3. The candidate will be expected to have extensive experience with building data driven solutions in T-SQL.
4. It is a requirement that the candidate will have experience with high-availability features such as log shipping, clustering and mirroring.
