WebSphere EngineersMy client, a leading tier 1 global bank, is looking for multiple WebSphere Engineers to join their offices in Sheffield. They are offering up to £550/day on a 6 month rolling contract, with a long term view.
Role: WebSphere Engineers (Multiple positions open)
Location: Sheffield
Rate: Up to £550/day
Duration: 6 month rolling - long term view
Minimum 3 years WebSphere Application Server and/or WebSphere Portal experience version 6.* or higher.
Solid understanding and experience in a UNIX environment.
Understanding of J2EE
Experience of Java, Web technologies and WebSphere Portal.
Familiarity of scripting languages such as Jython, Perl and Shell.
Proven experience of building WAS/WP services in development environments followed by the rolling out of these services to production services for high availability services.
Excellent priority management and a willingness to take ownership with a can do approach even under pressure.
