DEV OPS ENGINEER, DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS ENGINEERCONTRACT, 3 MONTHS INITIAL, SURREY
My client are a reputable travel company who are looking to expand on their current development team.
Working for the Development Manager you would be responsible for managing software, but not only with you be managing you will be part of a COMPLETELY NGREEN FIELD project of continuous delivery and deployment across the entire Dev and test production platform - sexy stuff!
You will be working on automated deployment systems such as CHEF, PUPPET. We are looking for someone who is agnostic to all systems and is happy to use multiple systems.
ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS
- Experience in automated environment configuration, implementation and optimisation using CHEF and Puppet, managing recipes for environments, providing documentation
- Helping to define and develop governance and handover of release ready solutions to service delivery.
- Stakeholder management and liaising between solutions development teams and the Head of Technology office at Group IT level.
- Experience with public and private Cloud, on premises hosting and co-location essential.
