My Client, are looking for a skilled Web Systems Manager to join our Communications Team. The Web Systems Manager will lead three Web Developers - working on our Digital Transformation Project in the final few months as we transition out of the project and into business as usual. Working closely with the Digital Communications Manager, you will ensure the project is delivered on time and can transition into a crucial strategic period for our digital communications.
Responsibilities:
The Web Systems Manager will lead on key business system architecture, providing clear strategic technical direction, guidance and leadership in the adoption of new technologies, data management and reporting strategies, and industry best practice.
You will ensure innovative and integrated processes and technical solutions are delivered to support the changing needs of the business. Sitting within the Communications Team, but jointly working with the ITI&S function, this will be a key strategic role in ensuring our digital systems and processes are able to deliver the ambitious targets we have set for our digital communications.
Essential:
- Experiencing of managing a successful and skilled in-house web development team
- Experience of working collaboratively across both IT and Communications/Marketing functions
- A skilled technical leader who is able to think strategically and practically
- Strong demonstrable experience of analyzing business need and implementing solutions
- Demonstrable project management experience
- Experience of managing external technical suppliers
- Experience of working with a range of Content Management Systems
- Experience of web development languages and a working knowledge of HTML5, SASS, PHP, web programming, developing web applications
- Solid understanding and experience of user research and user experience
- Demonstrable experience of web analytics, measuring and reporting on KPIs to a range of stakeholders
- A strong interest and experience of implementing new ways of working, digital innovation and new technologies
Desirable:
- Terminal 4 experience is HIGHLY EXPERIENCE
- Experience of managing intranets, especially SharePoint
- Agile/scrum project management methodologies
- Higher Education/public sector experience
- Experience of integrating CRM systems
- Knowledge of JQuery
