Description

I am currently looking for a Supply Chain / Production Scheduler for my client who is a well known company in the Pharmaceutical industry, based in the South East of England. My client is expanding their company and so there is more than one position available. The correct candidates will come from a Medical / Pharmaceutical / Food / FMCG background, and will have experience in Production / Supply Chain Planning.

Key responsibilities within this role include:
* Liaising with other teams to ensure order acknowledgements are based on available capacity.
* Assist with the purchasing by the company
* Review demand levels vs available machines
* To support the Planning Manager as required.
* Network with counterparts within the companies group (and external agencies) to expose improvement opportunities and to share best practices.
* Verify information and enter / update correct data onto the business management software
* To occasionally take on additional duties / tasks as requested by Management.

To apply for this role, the following is required;
*Experience in Production / Supply Chain Planning

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Be familiar with ERP / MRP systems
* Experience in an FMCG market, preferably Medical or Pharmaceuticals
* Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, and SAP / ORACLE
