ASP.Net / C# Developer role - Cheshire- 6 Months - £300 per dayASP.Net / C# Developer role - Holmes Chapel - 6 Months - £300 per day to work with a major FMCG client and major investment into .Net technology based application. This client are looking to bring on board 1 Senior level Developer to assist in heading up the project. With a growing presence in their market this is the first of what is expected to be many more projects moving forward.
Overview:
Role: ASP.Net Developer
Rate: £300 per day
Location: Cheshire
Scope:
The first project will entail working with .Net and C# based technologies to build a new Business Intelligence tool and web application that will enable the internal staff to calculate costing for stock, resource and pricing for services moving forward.
As the senior .Net Developer you will:
- Serve as the main Developer on the project
- Liaise with the IT Manager and board of Directors on the design build and progress of the project
- Ensure consistent and quality driven coding
- Be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and communicate "out of the box ideas" to the team
- Have previous experience in the delivery of new systems and the maintenance of previous existing ones
- Have at least 2 years commercial experience
Duties:
- Run and contribute to regular daily scrums
- Create a healthy code base for the initial development of the project
- Deliver the full lifecycle of the project
- Report regularly to senior management on the progress of the project

This client are a leader in the FMCG industry and have almost 90% of the market covered. Due to this success they have now attained recognition overseas in Asia and the United states and are looking forward to a plethora of new Greenfield projects and investment into their technology stack.
Essential skills:
- At least 4 years experience working with and coding in ASP.net and C# technologies
- Project experience and hands on background of working with desktop development / WPF based technologies
- At least 6 months background in SignalR
- Experience with the front end Development side including HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. Any additional experience with Javascript libraries is highly beneficial but not essential.
