We are currently looking for an Oracle DBA for a role with one of our clients in Luxembourg. The role and responsibilities are as follows:- Administration of Oracle databases, which includes planning, installing and configuring of database sever
- Implementation of Oracle database changes
- Trend analysis reporting and resource management
- Problem solving
- Overseeing of database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases
- Provide technical consultancy and assist on technical issues related to Oracle databases as the backend of software products built by SS
- Validate database requirements and perform database upgrades
- Bridges development and technical teams on technical issues related to Oracle database
- Document procedures
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 to 5 years related working experience
- Exposure to oracle 10g, 11g and above on Linux platform
- Experience with Cloud Copntropl122C; spotlight and toad
- Linux OS knowledge
- Good ability to c90ommunciate with customers and IT colleagues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to work autonomously and be flexible with regards to working hours
- Service and customer orientated
- Good English verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical documentation
