Convertible Bonds Support Analyst / Investment Bank / Contract / London / £500 - £550pdMy client, a pioneering investment bank, is looking for a support analyst with business knowledge around convertible bonds, and ideally equity derivatives, with SQL knowledge to join their expanding equity derivatives technology team based in central London.
What the role will entail;
The successful candidate will join the Equity Derivatives technology team in London, specialising in the Convertible Bonds area. The role will initially be focussed on on-boarding a new vendor technology platform in every respect from requirements gathering, to overseeing user testing and everything in-between.
Going forwards, the business and associated areas will need assistance to liaise with the vendor for support and development requirements, as well as specific in-house development and support tasks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in on-boarding of this emerging product and working with the business to build out the use of it - integrating more closely with our existing systems and migrating more functions to the new platform.
The candidate must be;
Strong communication skills working within an front office environment and able to liaise with key stakeholder within the business.
Successfully candidate will be technically minded and have a background using SQL etc. Manoeuvre around Windows or Unix severs, and script accordingly. You will also have to be very delivery focussed.
Good understanding of convertible bonds as a product is ideal and derivatives is advantageous
You should be able to write/code in MS SQL Server and any experience coding in C# is advantageous.
