Description
My Croydon based client is looking to take on 5 DevOps specialists on an initial 6 month contract, although this is part of a 3 year project therefore extensions are a strong possibility.This is an immediate start as the project has entered the Beta phase although the client is willing to wait for the right people.
In order to be considered for this position, you will have worked in an Agile Scrum environment.
Continuous integration + continuous delivery
Job spec below:
* Solid experience working in Agile Scrum environment, sprints and continuous integration helping with build troubleshooting, improvements, new packages, new artefact's, improving and refactoring build and delivery
* Solid experience with continuous build and continuous delivery
* Experience and interest working to the public sector
* Past experience working as DEVOPS and solid development background
* Experience delivering solutions from DEV to PROD/DMZ
* Solid experience working very close to developers
Build tools: Maven and Gradle (ant will be considerate)
Testing tools: Headless selenium, chrome driver, Jasmine, PhantomJS, TDD, BDD
Experience supporting and troubleshooting web applications: Java JEE, ruby, python
Solid experience giving instrumentation to Javascript development: jquery, node.js, javascript, Ghostdriver,
Strong scripting; Python, Perl, PHP, Bash
Load test tools: Apache Jmeter
Code review tools: Gerrit, Github enterprise
Applications servers: Tomcat, JBOSS
Linux (CentOS, Redhat or Ubuntu) and containers also (docker is a nice to have)
LAMP environment (mysql or postgress) with Apache or Nginx
Cloud hosting: Vmware Vcloud director (Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Director will be considered)
Automation; Salt (Chef, Puppet or Cfengine will be considerate also), Ansible and Rundeck
NoSQL; MongoDB, Redis
Continuous integration tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode, Black Duck, OWASP, Artifactory and Sonatype Nexus
Monitoring: Zabbix
SCM tools: Git or Mercurial
Logs an reporting: Kibana and logstash
BigData: Hadoop, ElasticSearch
MQ/ESB: RabbitMQ, MuleESB
