Senior Back-end Java Developer

Description

My client who is a leading mobile operator is currently looking for a Senior Back-end Developer for a 6-9 month daily rate contract role

Location: Dublin 2

Position: Back-end web developer

Rate: DOE

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop secure REST-based APIs
- Define the technical design, assuring compatibility with current services and functionality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires management of several tasks, while paying attention to detail and quality

Skills:

- Deep expertise in Java, with a strong specialisation in Spring Framework

- Knowledge of JMS messaging patterns. ActiveMQ would be valuable.

- Previous experience with Oracle Database is essential.

- Test Driven Development experience is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of Python language is desirable.

- Experience with Maven is highly desirable.
