Senior Systems Accountant - Leading Global Insurance Brand - 600 to 700 GBP per dayA leading insurance brands seeks a Senior Systems Accountant to join Business Intelligence Team. You will be working across a number of projects all dedicated to improving the company's world class BI platform.
Responsibilities:
*Taking a lead role with the company's Business Intelligence platform including providing an efficient end-user support service to a global user-base, managing the day to day administration of their finance systems
*Managing the relationship between the business and external suppliers.
*The role will also involve leading with project initiatives as and when necessary, covering the implementation of new solutions, and upgrades of the current finance applications.
Requirements:
*Experience in Financial Consolidation and Business Processes within the Insurance Sector
*Proven track record in the design and configuration of Financial Consolidation solutions
*Financial background or accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified) is necessary
*At least 5-8 years of technical knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP BFC & HFM
*At least 5-8 years experience of technical knowledge and hands-on delivery with SAP SSK & Oracle QMR
*Strong previous track record of implementing a BI system for a large MNC (2 million USD and above)
*Functional knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one of the leading databases (SQL, Oracle)
*Knowledge of data requirements and solutions for regulatory reporting in the Insurance sector
*Excellent analytical skills
*Exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills required
*Must be willing to participate in all aspects of the project including being very hands on and versatile.
