UI/UX Developer required Three month contract Cheshire…UI/UX developer required for a three month contract to assist with the redevelopment of a client facing web portal which will assist their end clients to manage their accounts more efficiently.
You will be joining an established development team who have extensive knowledge of back end development but need someone with experience in front end development to help them finish this piece of work.
Location: Cheshire
Rate: £250 to £300 per day
Length: Six Months

Key Responsibilities
Undertakes the analysis, design, implementation and testing of UI driven products/projects as directed by the Head of Software Development and Software Development Team Leader.
Takes ownership for 'User Experience'; encourages and educates team members in the principles of user experience and user interactions to ensure that UI systems are effective in achieving their goals.
From time to time work with and manage third party UX resources working on larger change programmes.
To work on the delivery of new product and services to enhance the Travel and Events systems.
Maintains and supports existing web systems as directed by the Head of Software Development/Software Development Team Leader.
Exercises best efforts and known best practice to ensure that UI software components perform accurately, efficiently and reliably.
Employs known patterns and best practice to ensure UI software is maintainable, reusable and logically structured.
Provide graphic design services to the development team.
Takes an active interest in technology, and user experience best practices.
Makes recommendations regarding the systems and software, both voluntarily and as requested.
Any other areas of responsibility as appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
Technical Experience Required
Web Design
Web UI Development techniques (HTML/CSS/JS)
Javascript frameworks (Jquery etc)
Photoshop
Excellent Design Skills
Photoshop license (Not Essential but preferred)
You will need to provide examples of the work you have done before by sending your portfolio along with your CV, you must ensure you have got some solid design experience and as this is more important to this client than your development experience.
