Proteus Europe are currently looking for a security engineer on a permanent basis for one of our clients based in Belgium.Job description:
Required competencies - general
- You are the holder of a master's degree in computer science or equivalent in Engineering, or you're final year student in that direction
- You can work in a multilingual environment and are willing to participate in the development of solutions in an international environment
- You are assertive and diplomatic
- You are dynamic and want to stay informed of developments and innovations in information technology.
Specific competencies depending on the job
- You are familiar with operating systems (Windows, Solaris), databases (Oracle, SQLServer), LAN and WAN networks and its security, application servers (Websphere, Webmethods) and Storage Area Network (SAN)
- You have documentation and organization skills
- You master scripting languages.
Function
You are part of a team responsible for IT security and IT risk management. You bring the critical aspects of the information systems and mapping, you ask criticality guidelines and helps translate these guidelines in architecture, infrastructure and implementations. You evaluate the safety and security tests performed.
