Fusion Developer

Yodel are embarking on an extremely exciting programme of work to replace their current core IT applications with a new purpose built solution.The programme of work is to commence immediately and will run through a number of phased deliverables over a period of 2 years.
As part of an exciting new Core IT Systems replacement programme of work, a number of roles have been identified as pivotal to the success.
The Fusion Developer will be expected to work as part of the Oracle team, this will involve the development of a large number of Fusion middleware services and the development of the new Fusion Middleware solution. These need to be designed with graceful error handling routines, high availability and be performant for large volumes of data and service requests, following Industry standard development processes.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Design and development of Fusion components for high performant systems using Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Work closely with the fusion architect and experts to ensure any new services or concepts are delivered to specification.
- Full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Performance tuning of Oracle systems including SOA Suite and OSB.
- Implementation of new technologies and developments to existing platforms.
- Work in an agile manner as part of a rapid delivery team.
* Ensure development and unit testing are carried out to a high level using company development standards.
