JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented, passionate full stack developer with LAMP-stack experience to improve our website and help us deliver a compelling user experience. Responsibilities include building web pages, testing pages, designing materials, debugging, coding to meet specific deadlines and keeping up with feature demands. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for graphic design, a strong knowledge of web development and a flexible schedule, who can come into our office or skype to go over different projects. He/she is a self-starters with a get-it-done attitude who strive to push tasks/projects forward and who isn’t afraid to tackle a project head-on without a lot of hand-holding. He/she will have 2+ years of experience, a portfolio to showcase your work and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Prefer local San Diego based developer but will consider remotely-working candidates that are highly qualified. After the contract is fulfilled, we may consider future opportunities and work for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of web development experience
  • Knowledge of LAMP stack development
  • JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, BackBone, AngularJS, MySQL, HTML5, AJAX, object-oriented programming
  • Experience working with CMS systems such as Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, etc.
  • Knowledge in UX/UI design practices for responsive and mobile design
  • Expert Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Local candidates only (San Diego) and must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstration of programming proficiency and problem solving is a must
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities a must
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Work with marketing team to create and maintain web presence
  • Involves roughly 70% Front End and 30% Back End work
  • Front site development to provide better aesthetics and enhancements
  • Front and back debugging and troubleshooting for solutions
  • Site and media restructuring and organization
COMPENSATION: hourly Rate, DOE
