Description

We want
A mid- to senior-level UX and data viz savant to work onsite in our NYC office for a two-month minimum engagement to help us develop a series of visual product prototypes centered around geographical, governmental and financial data.

We are
A small, tight-knit group of makers who share a mutual obsession for typography, texture, patterns and all things interactive. We like Red Velvet Oreos a whole lot too. We excel at designing and building for the web. We love branding and print projects. We’re all about data and social media visualization. Our clients range from startups and small businesses to some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

You are
A UX, data viz and web designer with experience creating data dashboards, full-screen interactive experiences and maybe even some kiosk interfaces. You also design beautiful websites with ease. You’re able to take a client brain dump and translate that into structure and usability. You’re organized and detail oriented. Above all, you have a good sense of humor and feel right at home in a fun and casual, but fast-paced environment.

You will
Work closely with North Street’s creative team as well as directly with our client’s internal product development team to brainstorm product screens and features, then bring them to life. Here's some stuff we've built along the those lines:

When you’re not busy doing that, we might ask you to take the lead on designing websites for other clients.

Compensation
Competitive and commensurate with experience.
