MS SQL, TSQL, Unix, DBMS, performance tuning, Visual Studio, MS JDBC
We are looking for a MS SQL Designer/Developer for a 6 months assignment for one of our customers in Helsinki, Finland.

Skillset
- Overall experience of 10+ years in IT databases with over 7 years' experience in MS SQL database management and operation.
- Over 3 years' experience data design, Datamodelling, database design and database development in MS SQL.
- Over 5 years' experience of MS SQL development DBA role
- Expert in SQL and DBMS actions, like complex queries, DB constraints, stored procedures, schema
- management, indexes and MS SQL performance tuning.
- Must have very good competence on TSQL in Unix and windows environment
- Must have competence to do database management actions by Scripting (like PowerShell).
- Must have competence of Unix and windows operating systems like scheduler etc.
- Good knowledge of software engineering practices
- Good knowledge of source control systems like Visual Studio.
- Be responsible for delivering the deliverables with quality and on-time.
- Understand how Microsoft JDBC is working and how to use it.
- Excellent command of English.
Job Description
- Data flow and database modelling.
- Database design.
- Database performance tuning.
- Development of current MS SQL database models and databases to respond to business needs
- Developing solution to track and maintain data quality control practices
- Improve data quality in MS SQL databases
- Develop and maintain integrations between MS SQL databases.
- Develop and maintain integrations between MS SQL databases system.
- Support other developers to achieve business needs
- Participate systems' issues analyzes and problem solving
- Participate deploying new software features to production environment.
