Search Engine Marketing Specialist - Bracknell - 12 Month initial contract - £28,000 - £30,000

Our client, a Global manufacturing company is seeking a Search Engine Marketing Specialist to be based in Bracknell on an initial 12 month contract.

Working under the direct supervision of our SEM Manager, you will be responsible for managing the build, launch, and monitoring of all paid search, display and social campaigns across UK & Ireland business websites.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience in a Google AdWords focused position with a good understanding of paid social advertising. Activities are predominantly B2B focused but will include working with our online store team.

This position requires an understanding of organic search and the candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge of on-page SEO techniques.

Roles and responsibilities:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the major factors that influence successful paid advertising campaigns and a desire to learn more.
Must have a thorough understanding of Google Search and Display networks.
Work with marketers to develop quality (optimised) landing page content and calls to action.
Strong understanding of the AdWords MCC, campaign budgeting, analytics and reporting.
Focus on driving B2B conversion events while improving the cost per acquisition (CPA) in line with business goals.
Responsible for operational SEO programme support as directed by the Search Marketing Manager.
Demonstrate an understanding of HTML.
Keep current with digital trends and integrate recent developments into projects.

Business Management responsibilities include:
Collaborate through regular reviews with business marketers to ensure campaigns are fully integrated into their marketing objectives.
Assist the SEM manger in educating the businesses on the changes in the search marketing industry and how these changes could affect their overall strategies.
Maintain consistent focus on KPI's and ROI from paid advertising and SEO projects.
Work closely with the SEM Manager to implement new digital channels, campaign optimisation, automation methods and beta programs.
Work closely with the businesses making continuous improvements to active campaigns and optimising their performance.
Responsible for the regular communication and reporting of campaign analytics and actionable insights.
Be a paid advertising advocate and provide mentoring to the businesses.
Guided by the company and Google, adhere to best practice at all times.

Knowledge and Skills

Candidates who carry current Google certification and can demonstrate a solid understanding of the following will be strongly considered:

Google AdWords, Analytics, Tag Manager and Webmaster Tools
LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube social advertising
