Looking for a full stack developer who prefers to work on the front-endBefore you ask...yes this is a remote project (100% remote- but I can't work with anyone who is not based in the US. Clients rule not mine) This client is a well known company in the consumer content space and they are in the process of working on developing some new applications and platforms for an entirely new business line. I am looking for a very strong front end developer who really enjoys creating a powerful user experience using Javascript, CSS, HTML, and Ruby on Rails. I need someone who can work on the application tier and write the code that is going to connect the UI to the back-end and other third party systems etc... This is a pretty straight forward project that could lead into more project work. The company has quite a back-log of projects that they are working through and are looking for really strong developers who can help them "Knock it Out" The initial duration of this particular project is 3-6 months, but I can let you know that I have other consultants on projects with this company and one of them is getting extended for 12 months after already working for 12. This is an ideal remote project. Working with smart people on applications and technology that are legitimatly changing peoples lives....I know everyone says that, but these guys really are.
