Description

Looking for a for an experienced and capable Perl developer to work on the completion of a strategic application platform for a global domain registration and web hosting group. The back-end is entirely Perl and API driven and integrates with UI functionality for the front-end control panels via RESTful API's.

Required skills:
  • 3+ years Perl programming experience
  • 3+ years experience with Unix-based systems (Perl development).
  • Excellent knowledge of common Internet protocols (e.g. HTTP, SMTP, DNS, Whois)
  • Excellent Perl programming skills, including Object Orientated development, debugging, test-driven development, continuous integration, POD documentation and common CPAN modules
  • Good Unix skills, including shell scripting & database administration (MySQL)


    • Desired skills:
  • Experience in the domain registration / web hosting market
  • Moose, DBIx::Class or Perl Dancer experience
  • MySQL Proxy, Galera Cluster
