Software Developer/Engineer - Big Data, Spark, Scala
Montash have been engaged by a Global Organisation to source and secure a Software Developer (Spark/Scala) to design and build robust and scalable solutions for 'Big Data' problems.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Rapid development and design on both Java and Scala based Server Side software to prove prototype concepts
- Design and development in Spark
- Work independently with the initiative to drive forward innovation with cutting edge technology
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7 years of relevant software development experience
- Demonstrated practical understanding of the specification, design, documentation, coding, testing and release of commercial software
- Fluent in Java & Scala coding
- Excellent experience in Spark
- Proven ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines to accomplish objectives
- Entrepreneurial thinking and work ethic.
