We seek a talented, professional freelance web designer with strong WordPress, CSS, HTML, and graphic design experience.
Before you read any further, please note if you do apply and don't provide us with everything we request, we won't consider you. That includes your hourly rate, which we need to assess your appropriateness for this role.
Candidate absolutely must be based in North America. Applicants from outside North America will not be considered. The successful candidate must also have regular availability during daytime working hours M-F.
We’re looking for someone with a high-level aesthetic who can really get to the heart of a client's brand and design a site that speaks to a target market.
Portfolio must show high-level, varied (not cookie-cutter), customized WordPress sites to prove aesthetics/capabilities on this platform. Our business is growing and we are looking for a long term partner whom we can send 1-2 WordPress sites per month for years to come, in addition to regular spot work covering needs for our existing client base.
We will manage all client-interaction and project management. Successful applicant will work with e9digital’s team at the start of projects, and will then be responsible for design and implementation through to QA process (with front-end support).
This is a telecommuting position, but you must be reliable and available to work on a regular basis.
Position Requirements
1. Strong, varied portfolio.
2. Expert level Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills. Flash & video-editing are pluses.
3. Solid, up-to-date CSS3, HTML5 skills.
4. Javascript/jQuery knowledge is a plus.
5. Must be able to QA/test across all platforms including mobile.
6. Passionate about design and technology.
7. Offer new ideas and communicate effectively.
8. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Compensation: Hourly
