Description
My client is looking for a Senior Server Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.Individuals will need to ideally have in-depth experience with Windows Servers, versions 2008RR2.
You will need to have comprehensive experience of supporting and troubleshooting high performing, large or high availability implementations, including:
Have an excellent understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows Server environment
Experience of Windows Server migrations and upgrades
Patch and configuration management of Windows Server environments
Strong hands on experience of supporting complex Windows environments
Have a clear understanding of disaster recovery strategies.
Should have detailed knowledge regarding Windows Server capacity planning and associated KPI's
Have in-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Windows Networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Polices, quotas, WSUS, PowerShell and scripting etc
Configuration of Group policies etc
Experience in virtualisation health checking, with the ability to recommend best practices
Detailed knowledge on Designing and Planning of Windows Server infrastructure
In-depth troubleshooting and ownership of escalated issues and root cause analysis
