Role: QA engineerLocation: Dublin
Contract Length: 6 Months
Contract Type: Daily Rate
Reporting to the Test Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the System Integration Test Team, which will be responsible to ensure that the newly developed software functionality is correct and is of the highest quality before entering the Customers Acceptance Test Cycle
This role would suit someone who enjoys testing complex systems, working closely with a development team, fault root-cause analysis and recreating defects. It will require some customer on site engagement.
The role involves the following:
Design and implementing Test Cases to the required standards
- Fault Identification and Re-Creation
- Providing regular updates of system test progress supporting the review of system test plans, providing input where needed
- Supporting Development team in analysis and system re-testing
Candidate Requirements
The candidate should have some of the following:
- At least 3-5 year experience of system testingwithin a Professional Environment
- Self motivated and willing to learn new technologies and testing methodologies
- Excellent Technical Analysis skills and good written and verbal communication skills required
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies
- Good knowledge of some of the following; JavaScript, HTML, UNIX, XML, SQL
