Senior Functional AnalystWe are looking for experienced Functional Analysts who can help deliver software designs and working software for mobile devices, and fully responsive websites.
The Contribution:
- Analyze large amount of documented business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and user stories
- Facilitate requirements gathering and prioritization workshops with the client and team
- Research & document user requirements, functional and non functional requirements
- Track & revise functional requirements and specifications
- Create user stories following Agile methodology standards
- Review design documents for consistency and as a source of software requirements
- Review & provide feedback on deliverables such as page schematics and wireframes
- Map functionality to system components and develop system test plans & scripts
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, designers, quality assurance engineers, technologists & engineers
- Represent professional software processes to company and clients in a way that demonstrates their value in a clear and compelling manner
Competencies:
- Flexibility to configure a process that facilitates the transformation of vague or ambiguous objectives into clear and understandable requirements.
- Initiative to define and navigate your own tasks and contributions to a program
- Experience working with Product Owners and Creative Teams to define and document business requirements, use cases and foundational design
- A breadth of knowledge in the software requirements field that empowers you to build upon that knowledge to visualize solutions to challenging problems and circumstances
- The maturity to see the way to solutions when others are caught in the details
- Strong background in client services and negotiating business decisions
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience on iterative software development teams
- Experience in an agency or with creative design process
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, functional specifications, design, development, QA, and release management
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, issue examination and pre-analysis, and root cause analysis
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary, globally dispersed teams
- Strong leadership skills and a willingness to mentor others
- Familiarity with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Confluence and JIRA
- Written and spoken English are considered a must
Start: May
Duration: 6 months
Location: Milan, Willingness to travel to the Middle East (Emirates and Saudi Arabia) for at least 30% of the time
