Embedded Software Developer/Antwerp/Contract
Endeavour Recruitment has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to work for our client in Antwerp.
Our client is looking for an English speaking Embedded Software Developer to work with a leading institution, in the Antwerp. The project is ongoing with contracts being on a 6 month rolling basis.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Great experience in Embedded software development.
- Experience with developing for an Embedded Linux device
- IP Networks, Routers, DSL gateways, Network security
- Packet switching
- OSI model
- Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, IGMP
- Networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, RAD, ND, PPP, IGMP, MLD)
- QoS
- Multimedia applications (Voice Over IP, video streaming)
- Network tools like ping, iperf, tcpdump, ethereal
- Scripting languages eg Shell
- Debugging on target (JTAG, gdb)
- Knowledge of source versioning systems (GIT) is a plus.
Location: Antwerp
Rate: Up to €400 per day, depending on experience.
