C++/OO/Game programmer/Dxworks/Graphics Design/Shaders
Immediately Available Contract position for a Gaming company in the midlands. The contract will be an initial 6 month Contract with the potential to extend.
Required Skills:
- Fluent C++ more than 5 years' experience preferably in the gaming industry
- Experience in a graphics role on previous titles, ideally with areas of specialisation.
- Thorough knowledge of interactive rendering techniques
- Strong 3D maths skills.
- Experience with DirectX
- Experience writing shaders (HLSL/CG etc.)
- Experience using version control software
- Optimisation of performance sensitive code
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of development on console and PC platforms.
- Good industry track record, such as previously published products
