Front End/Fast Light Developer - London - 3 month Contract - £450 - £520 per day DOE
PTS' client are currently seeking a Front End/Fast Light Developer to provide both Technical and functional assistance for existing Front Office applications (position keeping, booking, PnL & risk calculation, market data, quotation for trading and structuring.
The role will entail;
- Gathering and following up functional requests on new projects/enhancements requests.
- Developing new features and fix bugs on GECD FO Risk/Position Management system.
- Light developments of tools/services/batches for Front Office and Management needs.
- Collaboration with IT and Research teams based on different sites.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills;
- Post-graduate with 2 to 8 years experience in RAD for financial markets.
- Masters Degree in science or economics or equivalent.
- Financial Products, Pnl, and Sensitivities
- Development Experience of products that were deployed in production (Excel/VBA only experience does not count)
- Java, Python or Go
- English
- Trading Floor experience
- Excellent communication, relational and teamwork skills
- Determination, motivation and rigour
- Proven autonomy and resistance in a stressful environment
