Electronic Trading Support Analyst - London - 3 month Contract - £425 per day
PTS' client are currently seeking an Electronic Trading Support Analyst to manage the support of applications for the following desks:
- Index flow
- Stock Flow
- Emerging markets
- Commodities
- Forward Trading
- Equity financing
- Flow sales
- Agency
Duties will include the setting of proprietary softwares for booking, pricing and trading (manual and automaton, market interface):
- Real Time settings
- Market data parameters
- Market access performance tuning
- Computation setup
In addition, duties will also include electronic executions matching, new releases deployment, bug reporting and new features or improvements requests to development teams.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills;
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivative products (equities and commodities)
- Electronic trading support experience.
- Programming skills for Scripting or small development (Perl/PHP/Visual Basic/Unix Shell Scripts/C#/Java)
- Relational database knowledge
- Must be able to thrive in a demanding Front Office environment
- Highly motivated team player but also capable of working independently
- Knowledge of options and futures operations/clearing
- Knowledge of Citrix Servers' management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
