Senior Back End Drupal Developer
6 month rolling contract based in Central London.
The Role
Develop new functionality and improve existing functionality of Eurostar site using Drupal, PHP and other appropriate technologies, where possible taking an approach fitting with multi-channel development. Helping to ensure high quality code practices and design standards are always used. Work closely with other developers, the devops team and Technical & Solution Architects to ensure strategic roadmap activities are executed in a timely and correct fashion using the best approaches/technologies available Use a BDD approach to development.
Essential Skills:
3 + Years Drupal development experience
Ability to write custom Modules
Ability to write unit Tests
Proven experience of enterprise level projects
3 + Years PHP, MySQL, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JS
Experience with Memcache, Varnish or other reverse proxies
Experience of working with Agile environments as part of Scrum team
Good knowledge of LAMP stack
Experience of Drush
Any experience of the following technologies would be a bonus:
Vagrant and Puppet
Symfony
Redis
Drupal commerce
AngularJS
Gherkin/Behat
Jmeter
Jenkins
