Do you have experience with E-business and Fusion Middleware Technology such as OBIEE or ODI? Are you looking to work with a unique company in a great location?One E-business and Fusion Middleware Administrator is needed for an initial 6 month contract based in Valencia, Spain. You will join a global IT support company and provide technical support to various E-business systems and Fusion Middleware (FMW) hosting services. This is an English speaking role and has the potential for long term duration. Also on offer is a great work environment and the many benefits of Valencia which is a fantastic city!
Systems Administration & Support duties:
. Support managed E-business hosting services including system administration of E-business technology components.
. Provide technical support for managed Fusion Middleware (FMW) hosting services including system administration of main modules OBIEE, OAM, ODI and OID.
. Maintain the application technology stack (web Servers, applications Servers, database Servers, process schedulers, etc.)
. Perform routine production support activities and provide incident and problem management support
. Troubleshoot E-business & FMW related issues.
. Create new environments, perform code migrations, environment refreshes, application of patches
. Perform support activities during maintenance windows
. Monitor capacity and performing application upgrades
. Support the ERP development team.
. Assist with Disaster Recovery tests.
. Produce and maintain documentation as required.
. Implement project-type activities and other requests for services.
. Perform support activities during maintenance windows.
. In case of emergencies, perform support (either on-site or remotely using VPN connectivity) outside normal working hours.
. Provide secondary standby and on-call support as and when required including emergency contact.
. Perform other duties as required
Required knowledge and skills:
. Fusion Middleware technology experience, Oracle, OBIEE, ODI, OID, OAM
. E-business background and understanding
. Good all round technical understanding and capability including hardware (stacks, Servers etc)
. Knowledge in Noetix Views is beneficial.
. Experience in a support function. This is not an Architect role, rather a systems administration positions.
. Ability to live and work in Spain.
. Excellent English language skills.
