Systems Engineer/+3 months/Brussels
Systems Engineer required for one of our clients in Brussels for an initial period of +3 months.
As a System Engineer you will join the team IT System Engineering, and you will be in charge of analysing automation needs, develop scripted solutions and ensure the implementation and documentation.
Automation infrastructure needs are kind, based on OS and Windows services. The goal is to automate the actions performed by internal teams, and some of our customers, sometimes with a centralized management interface.
Expected deliverables:
- Create a script to create users for high school.
- Server build automation using an interface.
- Creation of a series of scripts from Quality Check Control Servers.
- Creating an IP Addressing management interface.
- Create a DRP automation interface.
- A set of scripts to automate operations.
Job Description:
For each deliverable, be sure to follow the following process:
- Collect the information needed to identify automation needs.
- Analyze the needs and coming up with solutions that meet the needs of scenarios.
- Develop the chosen solution while the documenting.
- Ensure the delivery of the solution, its implementation and the passage of knowledge to the team that will operate the solution.
Technical & Functional skills:
- Confirmed expertise (at least 3 years) developing Powershell v2, v3 and v4 (v5 is an asset)
- Very good knowledge in PowerCLI, VBS and WMI.
- Windows operating systems Knowledge 2008 (Windows 2012 is an asset).
- Knowledge of infrastructure services Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File and Print Services.
- Knowledge of SQL and Monitoring Nagios is an asset.
- Knowledge of user interfaces integrated to a Microsoft environment (eg hypertension).
- High type documentation Experience Level Design as well as operational documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or has equivalent work experience.
