VMWare, SQL, Lync, TCP/IP, 3rd Line Support, Citrix, SharePoint, InfrastructureAn excellent opportunity has just arisen for a Senior Systems Analyst to join a global marketing company who are currently undergoing a period of rapid expansion.
As a result, the successful candidate will be expected to work within the IT team offering technical contribution and be experienced in network design and analysis as well as competent troubleshooting.
There is a large focus of this role on VMWare, so demonstrable experience with the following would be advantageous- VMWare (5.x ideally), VSphere, VMotion, HA, Fault Tolerance, Distributed Switch.
ill be experienced with regards to servers, networking, communications and related hardware/software and will be a reliable point of contact for escalation support for Infrastructure Services team.
Other aspects of this role will see you ensure that systems are kept up to date and also that software compliance levels are adhered to.
Key Skills:
* Self-motivated with a desire to increase technical expertise
* Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft Lync and TCP/IP
* Ability to build and configure servers
* Experience with Windows, SharePoint, SAP, Citrix/XenApp
* LAN and WAN skills including routing, switching, firewalls and load balancing
* Excellent all rounder on supporting all areas of IT infrastructure at 3rd line.
